Emcure Participation in AIDS 2012, Washington DC

Emcure took active participation in the XIX International AIDS Conference at Washington DC from 22nd to 27th July. The biennial International AIDS Conference is the premier gathering for those working in the field of HIV, as well as policy makers, persons living with HIV and other individuals committed to ending the pandemic.

For Emcure that has operations spread across more than 65 countries, AIDS 2012 is the perfect platform to showcase its commitment to HIV/AIDS management.

Emcure’s pavilion has been visited by many dignitaries that includes – H. E. Dr. Kenneth Kaunda – The first president of Zambia, Minister of Health from Jamaica, Minister of Health from Mozambique, Deputy Minister of Health from Zimbabwe, Country Heads of National AIDS Control Programme from India, Ghana, D R Congo, Kenya and several countries in Africa, South East Asia and Latin American countries.

Emcure’s initiatives in bringing novel antiretroviral drugs partnering with Innovators and corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities to extend care and support to people living with HIV (PLH) have been appreciated by one and all.
